Chris & Katie Engagement Photos , San Jose State / Santa Clara University

On Sunday during a nice little heat wave in the Bay Area my brother and I headed out to meet up with his good friends Chris and Katie. They wanted to take some engagement photos at SJ State along with Santa Clara University. I was very excited to see that we actually had some clouds !! Don't laugh..... ; ) we never have clouds in SJ, just blue sky. I know , I know I shouldn't be complaining right ? Anyhow Chris and Katie were an awesome couple to work with. Very easy going and chill. Looking forward to shooting your guys wedding next month in Tahoe. Here's a few of my fav's.

Chris & Melissa's Wedding, Mountain View / Palo Alto

Wow where has the passed month gone? Guess I've been quite busy since it took me a month to get these photos up online for viewing. Back in April my cousin and I had the pleasure of photographing Chris and Melissa's wedding in Mountain View , CA. What an amazing church with high ceilings and beautiful stain glass windows. The Reception was held at the Palo Alto golf country club in Palo Alto ; ) Since the Bride actually works at the golf course we got the V.I.P treatment and were able to take some fun shots of them on the fairways while club members were still playing golf. Anyhow enough rambling CLICK HERE to view the entire album.

Playing With Off Camera Flash

I've been wanting to try this new technique that I learned from a fellow photographer Ed Pingol. Finally got my chance the other day while visiting my sister for her birthday. The following 2 photos were both taken at around 4pm in daylight even though they look like they were taken late in the evening. Thanks to my brother for holding the off camera lighting I was able to capture these 2 amazing photos of my father and niece.

What a fun loving couple who really enjoyed it when I said to kiss : ) I'm looking forward to photographing your guys wedding later this summer! Thanks to my brother Jon and my cousin Matt for assisting me in the shoot. CLICK HERE to view the photos.

SF. Embarcadero

A couple of weeks ago on a late Sat night, I decided to head up to San Bruno and meet my cousin Matt at his pad to play some good old fashion Guitar Hero. After jamming for a few hours we thought why not take a drive into the city and snap off a few photos. By the time we rolled into SF it was already 11pm and Faaaaareeeeeezzzing cold ! I think we spent about an hour of shooting around the Embarcadero area ...... and it was around that time when I couldn't feel my fingers. Yah I know , what a bunch of CA sissies huh :P Anyhow Click Here to view a few of my photos. Not bad for hand held eh ;)
